Dogs in Pools?

I have a pool with vinyl liner. I know that it is safe for Labradors to swim. My mom is scared the the claws will rip the vinyl liner and therefore ruin the pool. Now THAT would be a mess. Is this true?

Answers:

1Yes, it could happen. I suggest getting them a kiddy pool (plastic) rather inexpensive, so if they say "eat" it, you can easily replace it with another one. I have a rott & 3 pits, they have a plastic pool and love it. (i only had to replace it 3 times LOL)
